Introduction:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a part of our lives and our world. From self-driving cars to facial recognition software, AI is having a profound impact on the way we live, work, and interact with the world around us.
As AI becomes more sophisticated, it is increasingly important to consider the ethical and policy implications of this technology. How will AI affect our privacy? How will it impact our jobs? What are the risks of AI being used for harmful purposes?
This course will explore the intersection of AI and public policy. We will examine the ethical implications of AI, the potential for AI to improve public services, the challenges of regulating AI, and the impact of AI on jobs and the economy. We will also discuss the role of government in shaping the development of AI.
By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of the potential impact of AI on our society and the ethical and policy challenges that we face as we develop and deploy this technology. You will also be better equipped to think critically about the future of AI and to participate in the public debate about this important issue.
